Testing is performed by sequencing the 16S rRNA gene, and includes one subculture (if required), DNA extraction, and sequencing reaction and interpretation. For other gene targets, please contact the laboratory.
Transfer forms must be completed prior to the submission of pure bacterial isolates. Please contact laboratory (dsbacteriology@upei.ca) to arrange for submission.
