– Fast the patient for 12 hours
– Collect a Pre-Prandial serum sample
– Feed a standard meal: Cd for cats, Pd for dogs – or food with comparable fat/protein content, enough to stimulate gallbladder contraction.
– Two hours after feeding, collect the Post Prandial serum sample
