Routine culture and identification for filamentous fungi (e.g., Aspergillus species). This test includes culture and identification using microscopic and macroscopic evaluation. If identification is not possible, identification by gene sequencing may be required (at an additional charge.)

Samples of suspect dimorphic fungi (e.g., Blastomyces spp., Histoplasma spp.) can not be submitted. Please contact the laboratory for testing options.
