Abomasal Content screening allows for examination and identification of gastrointestinal nematodes in ruminants. Nematodes are morphologically identified. This test does not allow for reliable quantification of worm burden. A reliable estimate of worm burden is only possible if the entire gastrointestinal tract is examined.
