Dead - lymph node, lung, brain, urinary bladder

Container:

Whole blood – collect the blood in a purple-top vacutainer
Swabs – collect the swabs in viral transport media (contact RDVS lab to purchase)
Tissues – collect the tissues in a sterile leak-proof container

Handling/ Storage:

Refrigerate specimen(s) prior to shipment. Ship specimen(s) in an insulated container with an ice pack
